Radio was still just a few months old at this time, and the stations all operated on the only frequency that was then allocated to broadcasters: 360 meters (approximately 833 kHz on today's AM band.) Area stations therefore had to cooperate to determine which stations would be on the air at what times, these listings demonstrate the resulting patchwork:
